Full time: Monday - Friday 8am - 4.30pm
Location
This role is based between our GTG training centre in Wolverhampton and the Renault training centre in Leicester. It will also require some travel around the UK.
About the role
As the Automotive Programme Lead, you will work in partnership with employers to guide and support apprentices through effective and engaging teaching.
You'll provide a combination of practical, remote, and classroom-based learning sessions and have experience in delivering apprenticeships to a high standard, workshop and equipment maintenance, and following the agreed SLA to meet the programme's KPIs.
You'll be expected to deliver a high-quality service to employers and apprentices and be committed to ensuring that GTG's apprentices are reliable on the job and well-equipped to reach their career goals.
Day-to-day duties
Work with the curriculum manager and understand the programme delivery requirements
Ensure that all resources are in place for delivery
Undertake organisational health and safety processes and record findings as required
Deliver, when required, block week learning sessions
Complete all administrative tasks as required
Manage delivery teams to ensure that apprentices' progress is timely and learning outcomes are high
Scrutinise data sets to identify where there may be potential for risk within the programme
Undertake regular employer engagement, relative to the agreed SLA and KPIs, and prepare data ahead of such meetings
Engage in marketing activities with employers and the wider community in line with GTG strategies where relevant
Engage regularly with staff to gauge morale, ensuring high retention rates
Adhere to GTG protocols, policies and procedures
Essential skills and experience
Level 3 trade qualification
Level 3 teaching qualification (minimum)
Level 3 IAG qualification
Level 3 coaching qualification
Level 2 safeguarding qualification
Maths and English equivalent to Functional Skills qualifications at Level 2 or above
Minimum of five years' continuous industry work experience
Minimum of three years' continuous teaching experience
Understand apprenticeship standards and end-point assessment
Understand safeguarding in an FE setting (including Prevent)
Management or supervisory experience
Excellent standard of IT and administrative skills
Excellent communication skills and display initiative, positivity, and enthusiasm
Flexible and responsive to employer needs

Demonstrate excellent presentation skills
Always respect confidentiality
Demonstrate a commitment to the process of continuous review and improvement
Flexible approach to working in line with GTG's needs
A current full driving licence for national travel
