We have an exciting permanent opportunity to join our Accountancy Team within our Health & Social Care Partnership. This is a key role in supporting a wide range of services within East Renfrewshire across a range of Adult & Childrens Services.
You will be a qualified accountant, ideally with public sector experience and have the ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment. You will have a sound understanding of setting budgets for services and the cost and activity drivers, including payroll and costs of care, to support detailed projections throughout the financial year. Ideally you will have experience of producing accounts as part of statutory year-end requirements.
You will support budget holders with wide ranging financial advice and guidance, tailoring the approach for individual services. You will work as part of a small and dedicated team providing support to colleagues.
