Role: External Sales Manager
Location: London
Salary: £40,000 to £50,000 + Bonus
Hours: Monday – Friday
Type: Permanent, Office/Field based
Start Date: Immediately (flexible for notice periods)
About the Company:
Our client is a leading electrical wholesaler in the UK, recruiting Regional Sales Managers across London.
Responsibilities:
* Growing and increasing sales in the geographical area.
* Identifying and developing new and existing business accounts.
* Developing strong customer relationships to maximize account potential.
* Handling rejection professionally on calls and face-to-face interactions.
* Collaborating within a team to achieve business excellence.
Essential Skills:
* Electrical wholesale experience.
* Cold calling with persistence and confidence.
* Targeting and approaching suitable companies.
* Confidently demonstrating products face-to-face.
* Building and maintaining professional relationships.
* Planning, organizing, and meeting deadlines independently.
* Smart, professional appearance.
* Valid UK driving license.
Desirable Skills:
* Punctuality and effective time management.
* Ambition and a strong work ethic.
* Strong telephone communication skills.
* Positive attitude and excellent listening skills.
* Experience in the wholesale industry (advantageous but not essential).
