Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor – London – £70k – £75k senior benefits Trevett Services are delighted to be partnering with an established Maintenance Service Provider to make the key appointment of Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor. Working in one of the world’s most iconic landmarks, the Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor will report to the Project Director, supporting the Agile Works and Projects Teams at key stages so accurate cost and contract advice is provided. Additionally, the Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor will be tasked with the management responsibility for a team of Quantity Surveyors, Assistant & Trainee Quantity Surveyors. Working closely with the Projects Teams which generally deliver high volume low value works from £5k to £3m respectively. The Agile Works is primarily through a measured term contract utilising the PSA schedule of Rates & the Projects Team works are delivered via NEC3 or 4 or JCT fixed price. Main Responsibilities: Preparation of pre-tender estimates / cost planning. Taking a lead role in interfacing with the client and other consultants Pre & Post tender. Compilation of tender packs including managing queries from tendering contractors. Review of tender returns and cost alignment ensuring compliance with tender documentation including preparation of contract recommendation reports. Completion & updating of NEC3 activity schedules. Carry out take offs and site measurement for material procurement and final accounts. Check and approval of all MTC pre-measures and final accounts. About you: You will hold a Degree in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent experience). Have previously held a Senior QS position with either an M&E Service Provider or Contractor. Have experience with Maintenance and Service Contracts. Have experience of JCT, NEC3 and ideally NEC4 forms of contract. Be proficient in the full Microsoft Office package. Possess good technical knowledge and understanding of M&E works.
