Key Responsibilities: Business Growth Working with current customers to identify and develop opportunities for business growth. Supporting the businesses Innovation and Product Development agenda with focused presentations to customers. Winning new business with agreed strategic targets. To agree a sales budget each year with clear targeted and organic growth, and concise new customer targets. Working alongside the Commercial Director to plan the annual strategy and commercial budget Maintaining profitability To control the sending of quotes to customers and to ensure the process of price creation is robust. To sign off all quotes with the Commercial Director prior to communicating to customers. To work with customers to achieve ‘win-win’ situations where products are launched at the desired margin, while still fulfilling the customer’s requirement. Take the lead in the production of all tenders, obtaining sign off and agreement from the Commercial Director prior to issue. Ensure that agreed margins are consistently maintained with customers through accurate costing and integration of products into the business. Account management To liaise effectively and promptly with customers on commercial matters and day to day supply requirements understanding each customers requirements and their individual supply chain Promptly communicate volume forecasts to internal teams, ensuring the business is aware of any changes including launches and delists of products. Collaborate with the NPD team to guarantee the first-class service our customers expect. Work closely with the NPD, Process and Technical teams to effectively manage the customer specifications and the development process, ensuring compliance with BRC standards. Chair feasibility meetings for new product opportunities or projects where relevant
