Exciting new opportunity to join a growing team, which is recruiting for a dynamic Account Manager with a passion for menswear!
Joining an established menswear supplier & international manufacturer, this is a varied role to manage accounts, grow organic sales, and all stakeholder relationships. You will be part of a cross-functional team dedicated to the design, development, and production of multi-category apparel ranges.
Account Manager - Responsibilities:
1. Dealing with the customer on all aspects of the buying and production cycle and being the first point of contact to answer all customer queries.
2. Attend regular meetings with buyers.
3. Management of critical path from sampling through to bulk production and then delivery.
4. Feeding back and problem solving any critical path issues.
5. Liaising with design teams, technical teams, production units, fabric suppliers, and buying offices to ensure margin, quality, style, and delivery objectives are met.
6. Negotiating with factories and suppliers to get better prices and lead times.
7. Developing business by targeting new customers.
Account Manager - Skills and Requirements:
1. Relevant experience within account management/sales management (fashion & textiles) and from within a supplier or manufacturing environment.
2. Ability to identify trends, spot opportunities to develop, and to commercially develop.
3. Confident understanding of the end-to-end supply process to high volume retailers/etailers.
4. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
5. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
6. A confident, proactive approach capable of working effectively in a team under pressure in a demanding fast-paced environment.
7. Ability to interact effectively with suppliers and colleagues at all levels.
8. Overseas travel may be required from time to time.
9. Proficiency in EXCEL/MS Office.
