Key Responsibilities: In this role, you will conduct complex analyses on blood and other biological samples to ensure accurate and reliable test results. This includes maintaining and calibrating advanced laboratory equipment, such as the Alinity FBC for complete blood counts, and managing data through Sunquest LIMS. You will also oversee blood transfusion processes, utilising Transfusion Biorad systems to guarantee safe and compatible blood products for patients. Your responsibilities will involve adhering to strict quality control protocols, engaging in continuous professional development, and collaborating with medical staff to deliver high-quality patient care. Qualifications and Experience: • HCPC registration as a Biomedical Scientist • BSc (Hons) in Biomedical Science or an equivalent qualification • Specialist portfolio in Haematology and/or Blood Transfusion • Experience with laboratory equipment such as Alinity FBC, Sunquest LIMS, and Transfusion Biorad systems • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities • Commitment to continuous professional development Why work with Pulse?
