Role: HR Adviser Location: Scarborough, YO11 3YT Hours: Full-Time / Permanent Salary: £36,000 Company : Cooplands Bakery We have an exciting new vacancy at Cooplands for a HR Adviser to join our team Reporting into the People Partner and working as an essential member of the People team, this full-time role will work in partnership with the Manufacturing and Retail business areas in developing and implementing HR activity to support business growth and improve organisational capability. This role will contribute to both the strategic and operational objectives of the business. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years generalist HR/ER experience to provide advice and support to Line Managers for HR matters including Employee Relations, Performance Management, Reward & Benefit, Employee Engagement and Development. The location is either of our Bakeries and there will be travel to our Stores and other Bakery as required. Key Responsibilities: Providing customer focused support and guidance to managers on people matters building effective relationships and becoming a trusted adviser Proactively managing ER issues, ensuring that legislation and Company policy are adhered to Supporting Line Managers with changes to operating models Developing internal policies and processes to improve overall business performance and supporting the people agenda/strategy Analysing Key People Metrics and putting forward solutions to improve overall performance Supporting the People Partner with the implementation of business development and project activity Coaching and developing Line Managers to drive a high-performance culture Supporting the performance management cycle including probation, appraisals, objective setting Involvement with business engagement initiatives and employee surveys Keeping up-to-date with best practice to ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory frameworks Skills, know-how and experience: Strong generalist HR/ER experience Minimum of 2 years working in a similar role Experience of managing time effectively to deliver in a fast-paced environment Commercially aware with a results focus Effective written and verbal communication skills Ability to think creatively and future focussed Ability to influence at all levels Flexible, with the ability to work around changing business needs Driving licence and willingness to travel to different locations CIPD level 5 - Desirable Whats in it for me?
