We are looking for a Full Time Permanent Senior Site Manager/ Site Director to manage and lead two of our London sites.
Who are we?
Clerkenwell Health is a pioneering leader in clinical research, specialising in scientifically grounded clinical trials in the Mental Health and CNS space, with a focus on psychedelic drug development. Our unique approach integrates a collaborative Contract Research Organisation (CRO), an extensive Clinical Research Facility (CRF) network, and a leading Therapy Development Program. We are seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager/ Site Director to lead and manage multiple CRF sites across London, ensuring operational excellence and the successful delivery of clinical trials.
The Role
As Site Head, you will oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of several CRF sites across London. You will be responsible for ensuring the seamless execution of clinical trials across these sites, including managing Nursing and Operational teams at each location. Working closely with the senior leadership team (SLT), you will drive business development, ensure regulatory compliance, and ensure the efficient operation of each site while maintaining the highest standards in clinical research.
What will the role entail?
* Lead and manage multiple CRF sites across London, ensuring the effective coordination of activities and smooth operation at each site.
* Oversee the recruitment, development, and management of site teams, providing strong leadership and maintaining operational consistency across all locations.
* Collaborate with the SLT to support business development, contributing to strategic planning, budgeting, and financial management.
* Ensure the successful delivery of clinical trials, including participant recruitment, informed consent, clinical procedures, and data collection, while maintaining adherence to regulatory standards (ICH-GCP, MHRA, etc.).
* Manage vendor selection, risk assessment, and trial delivery across sites, escalating any issues as necessary.
* Oversee trial start-up, implementation, and close-out activities at multiple sites, ensuring alignment with company goals and timelines.
* Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation across all sites, ensuring high standards of care and compliance.
What will you need to succeed?
* Undergraduate degree in Life Sciences, Nursing, or a relevant field.
* Extensive experience in clinical trial management, with a proven track record of overseeing multiple sites and large-scale trials.
* Strong leadership skills, with experience managing cross-functional teams across multiple locations.
* In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements, including Good Clinical Practice (GCP), MHRA regulations, and internal policies.
* Experience in developing trial documentation, regulatory submissions, and ensuring operational excellence in a clinical research environment.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring the alignment of multiple sites with organisational goals.

There will be an initial screening call with the recruiter, a first stage with the Head of Clinical, a team interview finished with a panel presentation style interview
