Job Title: Business Interface & Financial Controls Specialist

Salary: £52000 + depending on experience
What you’ll be doing:
* Support to interpret and present information related to finance governance and the Financial Control Environment to key stakeholders
* Act as a connection between the GCC, Capability Centres, and the business to gather and share relevant information, ensuring thorough review and challenge of the data across the enterprise
* Be a point of contact to address finance governance issues, providing an end-to-end process perspective
* Offer support to the Maritime and Land Sector and Capability Centre stakeholders to resolve 'end-to-end' issues and encourage teamwork within the finance team
* Promote the importance of governance activities and assist in integrating the Financial Control Framework (FCF) into the finance function
* Contribute finance governance insights to business returns (OAS, ARB, etc.) and share knowledge within the GCC
* Provide finance governance information for key business reviews (Monthly Management, QBR, etc.) and share insights across the BIT team
Your skills and experiences:
* Solid understanding of the principles of an effective financial control environment
* Good knowledge of the IAA three lines of assurance model and its application within the finance function
* Proven ability to build relationships and understand issues to provide valuable insights to functional and business leaders
* Fully qualified in finance (ACCA, CIMA, ACA)

You will work closely with our Operations and Assurance teams to deliver high-quality insights to senior stakeholders while cultivating positive relationships within the Business Interface team, supporting Process Owners and Capability Centres across diverse sectors, including Submarines, Land, and Naval Ships.
