As a Hygiene Lead Operative, you'll play a hands-on role in ensuring the highest standards of food safety, quality, and operational efficiency. This is your chance to lead a team, drive improvements, and develop your career in the food manufacturing industry. What You’ll Do: Champion health and safety guidelines, challenging poor practices and encouraging a culture of excellence. Ensure food safety and quality standards are met at all times. Encourage clean-as-you-go (CAYG) and good manufacturing practices (GMP) across the team. Support and guide your team to deliver outstanding results. Train and brief team members to ensure they meet required standards. Act as a welcoming and supportive leader, especially for new starters. Monitor and report efficiency and identify areas for improvement. Collaborate with engineers and group leaders to maintain and improve performance. Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of machinery and processes, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
