Vickerstock are proud to be partnering with Newry, Mourne and Down District Council to recruit a Visitor Service Advisor.
As Visitor Service Advisor, you will be responsible for providing clerical, reception, and secretarial support as allocated.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide comprehensive administrative assistance, including handling correspondence, managing records, and scheduling.
2. Greet and assist visitors in a professional and friendly manner, addressing inquiries promptly and efficiently.
3. Support team members with day-to-day tasks to ensure smooth operations.
4. Actively contribute to maintaining a welcoming and customer-focused environment at the Tourist Information Centres.
5. Work closely with staff to meet Tourism Northern Ireland's Minimum Standards, striving for continuous improvement.
6. Serve as a knowledgeable point of contact, promoting local attractions, events, and services to enhance visitor experiences.
Qualifications:
* Grade C or above in at least 4 GCSEs or equivalent qualification, one of which must be GCSE English Language or equivalent and one of which must be a GCSE in a numerate subject or equivalent.
Please note that successful candidates will be required to complete Basic Access NI Security Clearance at a cost of £18.
