Our client is looking for a Production Planner to join their growing team. They are a global leader in fluid and gas system solutions, known for its high-quality products and services that support various industries, including oil and gas, petrochemical, chemical processing, and powder.
Key Responsibilities
1. Execute jobs at specific times across manufacturing sites while tracking job performance and customer requirements.
2. Determine optimal manufacturing timelines to enhance efficiency and prevent stockouts, balancing inputs and outputs effectively.
3. Develop and implement daily and weekly production schedules, adjusting as necessary to align with operational goals.
4. Collaborate with relevant departments to establish schedules that allocate resources effectively to meet client demands.
5. Periodically compare current and anticipated orders with available inventory, using judgment to anticipate demand and acquire additional supplies as needed.
6. Integrate sales orders with the master schedule, coordinating the availability of raw materials, equipment, and personnel to meet delivery timelines.
7. Produce weekly management reports outlining key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess production performance.
Qualifications & Requirements
1. A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in production planning or a similar role.
2. Highly literate in MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems.
3. Strong inventory management skills, with the ability to analyze requirements versus inventory positions.
4. LEAN or other relevant qualifications.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
7. Thorough understanding of supply chain processes.
8. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
