Education required:
1. Five GCSE passes (or equivalent), including English Language and Mathematics at Grade 4 or above.
2. At least two subjects at A Level (or equivalent), including Chemistry/Biology.
3. Alternatively, must have completed a Level 3 Laboratory Technical Apprenticeship in a relevant science discipline.
Language requirement: Written and spoken fluency in English.
Location: GSK HQ, London. You must live within a 60-minute commute of the site location on the day you start your apprenticeship as you are expected to be on site daily.
Expected start date: September 2025.
Duration: 5 years.

We are looking for motivated individuals with a willingness and enthusiasm to learn, who are excited to join the Research & Development function supporting the Clinical Operations team with efficient, compliant, effective planning and execution of clinical trials, and adhering to regulatory standards. No prior experience is required as you will be given full training.
What will you do?
1. Study Support: Assist in the setup, monitoring, and close-out of clinical trials, ensuring compliance with protocols and regulatory requirements.
2. Data Management: Support the collection, entry, and verification of clinical trial data, maintaining accuracy and integrity.
3. Documentation: Help prepare, review, and maintain essential study documents and reports.
4. Site Coordination: Coordinate communication and logistics with clinical trial sites and vendors.
5. Regulatory Compliance: Assist in ensuring all activities adhere to Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and relevant regulatory guidelines.
6. Project Assistance: Provide administrative and operational support to project managers and study teams.
7. Training Participation: Engage in training sessions to develop knowledge and skills related to clinical operations and study delivery.
8. Quality Assurance: Support quality control efforts to ensure high standards in study execution and data management.
This apprenticeship could include five rotations in roles which support Clinical Trials in the UK and within a central global team.
Will travelling be required in this role?
Yes, travel will be required to fulfil role responsibilities, particularly in Site Engagement.
