Purpose:
We are looking for a dynamic and innovative marketing director to lead our marketing strategy and drive brand growth. You will be responsible for crafting impactful communications and customer loyalty across paid, owned, and earned channels. As the leader of a talented team, you’ll oversee a Best-in-Class CRM & loyalty program, ensuring sustained growth and enhancing customer lifetime value. We are looking for someone with a proven track record in disruptive marketing and integrated communications, who is experienced in scaling loyalty programs and has a deep understanding of restaurant operations. Key Accountabilities:
1. Crafting fame and footfall driving communications across paid, owned, and earned channels that convert to more visits for more occasions.
2. Best-in-Class CRM & loyalty program with industry-leading LTV & primary contributor to LFL growth YOY.
3. Ensuring Wagamama is always easy to find and search digitally with a dominance of local search.
4. Defining and implementing our in-restaurant brand proposition ensuring we are a memorable moment for guests to connect, inspiring one more visit through what makes us famous (our food and our hospitality).
5. Inspiring and leading the team, creating the next generation of leaders.
6. Leading a team of 12 with 4 direct reports, working closely with peers - commercial strategy & insight director, creative director, head of international marketing as the senior marketing leadership team.
7. Key member of the wider business senior leadership team.
Key Skills + Experience:
1. Disruptive marketing, proven track record in delivering commercially.
2. Impactful integrated communications ideas, with experience in scaling a loyalty/CRM program and strong relationships with restaurant operations to bring the brand to life through team members viewed as genuine brand ambassadors.
3. Proven leadership skills.
4. Ability to connect with restaurant operations to bring the brand to life.
