We are working with a well-established and growing business based in Redhill who are looking to recruit a Warehouse and Technician Assistant. Offering a competitive salary of c£25,000, this is a great opportunity for somebody who has either worked within a technical/engineering role, where fault finding and repair is your day-to-day role, or for someone who has a love and passion for fixing things!

About the role:
Technician support:
As one of the go-to experts, you will be on hand to answer technical queries for customers. Quality control is key, as you will be required to run quality control assessments on the products and fix/repair products as appropriate on site or at customer location.
You will be expected to write up procedures and processes where required, test new products and demonstrate products to customers, as well as update systems with bundled product details and customer service updates.
Due to the nature of the product being distributed, there will also be the need to test lithium-ion batteries.
Warehouse support:
To support stock movement around the warehouse including deliveries and despatch, booking in and despatching stock to customers and accurately reporting this on to the CRM system.
There will be the requirement to deliver to customers, where an appropriate vehicle will be supplied.
You will assist in stock transfers between sites, keeping the warehouse clean and support all facilities on-site requirements as requested.
Skills Required for this role:
1. Physically able to lift 20-25kg boxes without issue to a height of 1.6m
2. Basic technical skills with ability to fix bicycles or similar
3. Certain knowledge of simple electrical items or similar and ability to fix
4. Basic IT skills, experience of CRM systems and basic Excel skills
5. Current, clean driving licence
