Job Purpose:
The eStore Business Analyst will be part of the RITC team to provide eStore platform's business & technical support and guidance to subsidiaries. This role is required to engage with subsidiaries' eStore team to support marketing activities proactively and to co-operate complicated requests with eStore related teams.
Responsibilities:
1. Act as a technical business analyst for subsidiaries by providing technical advice and consultation on the eStore platform.
2. Clearly understand the client's requirements and liaise between the subsidiaries and service manager in India to ensure requirements are fully captured.
3. Coordinate with eStore related teams regarding requirements from subsidiaries.
4. Co-operate with HQ and support subsidiaries' UAT (User Acceptance Test).
5. Strive to utilize best practices within the eStore platform to deliver better customer outcomes.
6. Understand Samsung.com as well as eStore platforms and provide proper guidance to the Samsung Electronics eStore stakeholders.
7. Actively seek opportunities to develop knowledge and experience, internally and externally.
8. Produce reports for internal use (ad-hoc, weekly, monthly, etc).
Qualifications:
1. A high level of business intelligence and strong analytical skills.
2. Business analysis experience working within a digital and E-Commerce function.
3. Experience of delivering business requirements, business process design, and functional design on digital change and E-Commerce projects.
4. Proven experience across a range of E-Commerce technologies and platforms (Hybris experience desirable) - 3rd party integrations.
5. Knowledge of corporate global ERP systems (SAP experience desirable).
6. Experience of software development tools, such as Jira and Confluence.
7. Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle in the Agile Model.
8. Cross-functional team player with a strong mix of technical and functional experience in eCommerce systems and retail, including product information management, order management, payment processing, content management, and front-end UI.
9. Experience delivering using (hybrid) Agile methodology, Jira (user story, ticket management), Familiarity with eCommerce analytics reporting needs and Adobe Analytics highly preferred.
10. Excellent knowledge of web platforms and systems integration.
11. Detailed functional knowledge of all major business processes in the sales and manufacturing industry.
12. Working knowledge of HTML, JSP, Javascript, XML, JSON.
13. Knowledge of the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook).
14. Very strong relationship building and influencing skills.
15. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
16. Experience in requirement gathering and proposal write-ups.
17. Analytical thinking with the ability to pick up new ideas and subject matter quickly.
18. 3+ years of concentrated eCommerce/retail experience.
