Overall Objectives of the Post You will provide leadership to our Mental Health and Learning Disability Social Work Teams, working collaboratively with colleagues and partner agencies to improve outcomes for people in South Tyneside who draw upon care and support from our specialist social work services.
As an experienced and registered practitioner, you will be committed to working in a setting that believes that people are at their healthiest and happiest when they are supported to remain independent.
You will demonstrate a collaborative and facilitative style of leadership, which ensures you engage, coach, mentor, motivate and inspire your team to become high performing, ensuring the service provided is effective and responsive to the needs of the population.
The postholder will be accountable for implementing and delivering on the overall strategic framework for policy, service development and quality assurance for statutory services within their portfolio areas, whilst optimising service performance and maximising available resources with a focus on value for money and the South Tyneside Pound
Requirements:
Enhanced DBS check required.
Relevant educational qualifications and registration.
Proven leadership experience in social work or related fields.
Knowledge of CQC quality standards and service performance management.
Pay rate: £35.34p/hr
