The positions we are recruiting for are based in South West of England. We are looking for skilled, caring and confident Health Care Assistants to join a team providing care for elderly patients with a variety of illnesses, including dementia and Alzheimer's. The right candidate will interact directly with patients, monitoring their vital signs, providing comfort and transportation, and assisting with daily living needs.
Responsibilities:
* Assisting with daily living activities such as eating, showering, and using the toilet.
* Utilising equipment to move patients when necessary.
* Helping tidy the patient’s home or room.
* Providing personal care for residents on the floor and/or a 1-2-1 basis.
* Taking the patient’s vital signs such as blood pressure and temperature.
* Talking to patients and reassuring them.
* Attending meetings with other healthcare professionals.
* Assisting nurses and other staff when needed.
* Adhering to professional standards.
* Delivering reports to Case Managers and reviewing any important changes in the patient’s condition.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term contract, Temp to perm, Zero hours contract.
Pay: £11.50-£12.00 per hour.
