Role description
Working as a Pharmacy dispenser supporting the supply of CMBP in a specialist Private pharmacy. This is a niche role in a growing area. The successful candidate will be working alongside specialist Clinical Pharmacists to make CMBP more accessible for all patients.
Responsibilities will include but not be restricted to :
* Receiving and validating prescriptions ready for a clinical check.
* Processing patient information appropriately.
* Supporting the Responsible Pharmacist & Technicians in the daily operations of the Pharmacist.
* Being the first point of contact for any queries to the Pharmacy.
* Maintaining relevant records for the supply of CMBP.
* Maintaining stock and security of any CMBP on site.
* Maintaining communication of prescription to the Department of Health to meet Regulatory Requirements.
* Supporting governance in the Pharmacy to ensure the pharmacy is operating as safely as possible.
Skills, Experience, and Qualification:
* A UK qualified Pharmacy dispenser
* Ideally Undertaken CPD-accredited medical cannabis educational programme. Through this will be provided for the successful candidate
* Self-motivated individual with high levels of attention to detail, able to work accurately, identifying errors quickly and easily
* Experience in working in the pharmacy dispensary either primary and/or secondary environment
* Has attention to detail patience and the ability to remain calm during stressful situations
* Excellence in communication skills with staff, patients and other healthcare professionals.
* Professional, ethical and committed to providing excellent customer care
* Excellent computer literacy with good working knowledge of office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Salary and Benefits:
Salary: £26,000 pa pro rata
