As a Whole Life Carbon Assessor, you will play a pivotal role in assessing and reducing the carbon footprint of high-rise construction projects. You will be responsible for conducting lifecycle carbon assessments, evaluating building materials, processes, and operations to provide practical recommendations for carbon reduction. Working closely with a small team of sustainability experts, you'll lead the charge in ensuring projects align with BREEAM compliance and meet our sustainability goals. Key Responsibilities: Lifecycle Carbon Assessment: Lead whole life carbon assessments for high-rise building projects, from material sourcing to end-of-life. Carbon Footprint Evaluation: Assess and quantify carbon impacts of materials, systems, and processes, offering actionable insights to reduce carbon emissions. Energy Compliance: Apply BREEAM standards in lifecycle carbon assessments to ensure projects meet sustainability criteria. Client Relations: Act as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring project updates are delivered efficiently and client needs are exceeded. Technical Expertise: Provide in-depth knowledge of high-rise building construction and sustainability practices. Documentation and Reporting: Prepare detailed reports and documentation for carbon assessments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Team Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated projects, and support junior team members where needed. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainable Architecture, Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not essential.3 years of experience in sustainable building practices, particularly in high-rise construction and lifecycle carbon assessments, is preferred but not mandatory. Proficiency in lifecycle carbon assessment methodologies and a solid understanding of high-rise construction. Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills are essential.
