Job summary Come and join a forward thinking Pre-Operative Assessment Unit, as the post holder you will be required to work as part of the multidisciplinary clinical team to support the highest standard of care for patients. Delivery of care is patient focused and has emphasis on meeting the individual patient's needs during the pre - operative process. The assessment aims to prevent on the day cancellation of surgery. Please note we are unable to support applicants who require OSCE, as the Trust has a separate and limited application process Main duties of the job To be a proactive and positive member of the Pre-Op Assessment Unit that working across all days & shifts that department is open, works effectively & efficiently with patients, carers, visitors, the wider clinical and administrative teams we are in contact with daily, radiology & diagnostic services, research team, laboratory staff & all Trust employees & contractors. Must demonstrate Trust values at the core of day-to-day work to ensure the provision of a quality patient focused services.The post holder will assist and support other members of the team in delivering high standards of care to the patients within a designated area, under supervision of a qualified nurse in accordance with the needs of the department, with a flexible approach towards working, following induction and required training.
