Description and requirements
We are looking for a Façade Project Manager to join our Building team, to have overall accountability and day-today management for the delivery of the façade package, from design to handover.
This is a key role in completing the design, production and safe installation to agreed programmes and within budget, whilst resolving issues and concluding all actions in order to achieve milestones.

What you'll do:
1. Chair design and site progress meetings, produce minute and track/conclude actions. Ensuring all deliverables are produced to programme.
2. Review and comment/approve of package issued documentation, for example drawings, reports, technical queries, requests for information, safe system of works and risk assessments, etc.
3. Collaborate with package quantity surveyor for package cost control.
4. Day-to-day liaison with design team and specialist contractor team for all design, production, and installation matters.
5. Carry out off-site and on-site inspections to assess production status, ensure quality of manufacturing and installation including testing and benchmarking, relevant reporting.
6. Coordinate and monitor all site activities associated with the façade, in partnership with other package managers and with due consideration to other packages/trades and their interfaces.
7. Develop short/medium and long term programmes incl. last planner sessions.
8. Track progress vs. package programme, identify and implement corrective actions to meet deadlines.
9. Ensure high standards of health and safety are always maintained on site with a proactive approach.
10. Oversee the management of the sites activities e.g. pre-cast installation interfaces, windows and other facade works, ensuring design compliance, RAMS, installation, inspections
11. Develop a good working relationship with the clients team, consultants, sub-contractors and external parties to ensure the successful execution of the works.
12. Ensure all project specifications, quality requirements (including on-site inspections and checks) and industry good practices are followed throughout the project.
What you'll bring to the role:
13. Proficient and proven understanding of façade engineering, detail design, testing, production and installation, technical/material information.
14. Strong ability to deliver façade packages on time and on budget at all project stages.
15. Good project and site management skills.
16. Accustomed to factory visits (inc. abroad), quality/progress inspection, relevant reporting
17. Appropriate engineering/construction qualifications and competency
