Harvesting Machine Operators

In support of our continued and exciting growth, we are recruiting for Forestry Machine Operators to work as part of a dedicated team planning and carrying out tree harvesting operations.
If you are an experienced Forestry machine Operator based in Scotland we have an opportunity for you.
Specifically, some responsibilities of a Machine Operator include:
* Operating a forwarder and Harvester to mechanically fell trees and extract timber to the roadside.
* Keep daily maintenance records.
* Being able to plan and set site out suitable for extraction. Minimise environmental impacts on the surrounding area.
About you:
Already experienced in harvesting operations, you will have:
* FMOCS Qualification.
* First Aid + Forestry.
* Sound knowledge of felling permission laws and legislations. Ability to adhere to rigorous Health & Safety standards, ensuring you are working safely, in a clean and hazard free environment and the correct and proper use of PPE.
* Ability to adapt and work towards tight deadlines in a fast-paced, changing commercial environment.
* Self-motivated attitude, as well as a collaborative approach.
* Excellent communication and people skills.
* Full Driving Licence.
