This chartered firm of accountants has developed a very strong reputation across Kent, the South and nationally, acting for some very interesting and growing businesses consisting of entrepreneurial and technology businesses.
As a result of ongoing, sustained positive growth and looking to plan for the future development of the firm, the partners are looking to recruit a Corporate Tax Senior into their team.
This firm does some corporate tax compliance, but this position will offer the opportunity to hone your skills on more technical matters across R&D calculations, EMI, and EIS, international tax matters, group structuring and due diligence to for mergers and acquisitions.
Our client is willing to provide full support and training on areas you’re not familiar with, as long as you come from an accountancy practice background and have had some corporate tax experience, even as an Accounts Senior.
Assisting with tax advisory work including EIS, EMI and share schemes
Helping with Mergers, acquisitions, reorganisations and tax due diligence
Preparation of R&D tax relief claims
Preparing corporation tax computations and returns for larger, more complex companies and groups
Overseeing and reviewing the more basic corporation tax compliance function to ensure deadlines are met
Requirements
You will be ACA/ACCA/ATT/CTA qualified, or qualified by experience.
You will have a background in corporate tax, mixed tax or general practice.
Experience in areas such as EMI, EIS or R&D would be advantageous, but not essential.
Benefits
£40,000 - £50,000 dependent on experience and background, negotiable.
