We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organised Financial Administrator to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will perform IT based and manual financial tasks to support Finance Managers and other staff. The Finance Administrator will be expected to have skills and attributes which will make them capable of performing all the major tasks outlined below.
Main duties and responsibilities:
1. To be responsible for day to day processing and management of financial information. This includes the scrutinising and checking for reasonableness, completeness and accuracy of a variety of financial documents, the processing of account payments and collection of income, the collection of data and the operation of commitment and projection systems. This will be achieved through the operation of manual and computerised systems.
2. To provide day to day operational advice and information on financial matters as requested.
3. To assist the Accountant and Assistant Accountant in compiling information for management reports.
4. To help cover other Finance Administrators in their absence.
5. To conform to, actively commit to and promote DCC Customer Service Standards both with internal and external ‘customers’ when using any communication media including telephone, email and face to face.

12. Good understanding of spreadsheet, database and word processing packages
