An opportunity exists within our newly created finance function for a Payroll and Accounts Executive as a result of international expansion of our existing successful overseas business. The Payroll and Accounts Executive will be responsible for end-to-end payroll processing, statutory monthly and annual payroll filings, dealing with all payroll queries as well as finance tasks such as purchase ledger and cash reconciliation. The typical tasks included in the role are: End-to-end payroll processing for both monthly and fortnightly paid employees, dealing with any queries from employees. Processing all starters and leavers in the payroll software. Accurate processing of BiK and staff expenses. Timely filing of all statutory monthly and annual payroll returns. Generating P11d, P45, P60, etc as required. Calculation of payable commissions for all sales staff. Processing purchase invoices in Sage 50, arranging supplier payments and resolving all supplier queries. Posting and reconciling cash transactions in Sage 50. Other ad hoc finance related tasks and reporting. End-to-end payroll processing for both monthly and fortnightly paid employees, dealing with any queries from employees. The person: Minimum 2 years experience managing end-to-end payroll function A working knowledge of Sage 50 would be an advantage but not essential CIPD qualification or working towards this would be desirable Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing financial data You will be able to communicate effectively and build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders A proactive approach with a sense of ownership and accountability Enthusiasm to learn and develop yourself professionally.
