Are you a passionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role in a supportive primary school? We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our team in Burnley, providing tailored support to children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
1. Provide 1:1 and small group support to children with SEN, adapting to their individual needs.
2. Assist the class teacher with general TA duties, including lesson preparation and classroom management.
3. Implement EHCPs (Education, Health & Care Plans) and support students with a range of learning difficulties and disabilities.
4. Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment that promotes confidence and independence.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Previous experience working with children with SEN in a school setting.
2. A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach.
3. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
4. Ability to adapt to different age groups and learning abilities.
5. A relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent) is desirable.
