This growing plant sales and service business with considerable growth opportunity is looking to recruit a Group Service Manager to lead the operation and develop their offering to a broad client base.
Job Description
Reporting into the Managing Director, the Group Service Manager will lead a team of engineers, via Team Leaders, across 3 service depots. You will have responsibility for the full service operation and will be tasked with developing systems, processes, and people as the business continues to grow its already significant service operation.
Based from the Leicestershire HQ, the Group Service Manager will sit on the leadership team for the organization and work closely with the commercial and technical teams to develop efficiencies and drive profitability. You will have the autonomy to drive change and will be expected to challenge all aspects of the existing operation to unearth opportunities moving forward.
Day-to-day responsibilities will include:
* Planning and delivering all service work
* Effectively managing the Workshops and staff, including mobile fitters
* Driving performance and metrics
* Supporting the commercial functions
* Leading best in class health and safety

The successful Group Service Manager will have a proactive approach and possess a range of the following:

* A strong technical background comfortable working with a range of plant and equipment
