About the role
Within this role you'll be working across the West Wessex region with hubs in Bristol and Weston Supermare, this is alongside 10 other managers within the West and Wales region.
On a daily basis you'll be leading your team of drivers to ensure that our Boots stores (c100 for this region) are fully stocked and serviced, ensuring that standards are high. Your team will consist of around 20-50 PDC drivers, that you'll play a key role in motivating, developing and coaching to ensure that they provide an excellent service for customers. You'll also manage a Team Coordinator to support with day to day activities and planning for your team.
You'll also:
1. Build great relationships with key stakeholders
2. Ensure adherence to all standards & policies e.g. Standard Operating Procedures, Health & Safety while acting as an Ambassador for Boots & PDC always
3. Deliver outstanding customer care across all PDC customers. Drive the service to be flexible, agile & reliable
What you'll need to have
1. The role requires a full driving licence with less than 6 points
2. The role is subject to a satisfactory DBS check
3. Good people management skills with an ability to effectively influence a team who work remotely. A need to balance good communication skills with an ability to engage and motivate and ensuring efficient service delivery
4. Ability to build relationships with a range of stakeholders
5. Excellent planning and time management skills
6. Able to work under pressure, manage competing demands & respond quickly & calmly to escalations
7. Able to demonstrate a real commitment to customer care & understanding that this is at the forefront of the BHL ethos
