Position Overview
AirEx is seeking an exceptional Head of Marketing, responsible for helping drive the company’s commercial goals. This role is both strategic and hands-on with the opportunity to grow in scope as the company expands and will involve close coordination with various internal departments, especially the commercial team, playing a key role in scaling the business.

They must be passionate about AirEx's mission to combat fuel poverty and climate change and will have a demonstrated ability to lead marketing efforts in a fast-paced, innovative environment. You will be joining a smart, passionate and diverse team that puts innovation, design, engineering, science and business together to solve the challenges of decarbonisation.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Lead the strategy and execution of all marketing activities, to help grow our partnerships and customer base in the UK and beyond
* B2B Prospecting and Pipeline Building – working closely with the Sales team you will plan and execute activities that will either directly or indirectly help build the sales pipeline and support deal progress
* Drive the strategy for quality B2B inbound leads, using campaigns, paid ads, content, PR & events (including trade shows / webinars), working alongside the Commercial team
* Produce and curate content for B2B Marketing, including website copy, case studies, social media, partnership proposals, sales materials and client and resident communications
* Oversee our social media accounts, with a focus on the use of LinkedIn for B2B Marketing
* Create and manage LinkedIn and other social media advertising campaigns
* Seek and pursue PR opportunities, writing blogs, press releases & news articles on behalf of the company - spreading the message far and wide in an authentic way
* Driving the thought leadership activities of the company to reach specific segments in the B2B / Govt sector, to help improve broader market awareness and shape policy
* Manage our quarterly investor communications
* Deliver the overall marketing strategy whilst ensuring that the day-to-day marketing function is able to perform
* Managing marketing expenditure, financial goals and budgets
* Work closely with product and commercial teams to launch new products, from market research to full launch
* Be the guardian of the AirEx brand, both visually and through our communications
* Design capabilities is a plus (even basic usage of Canva helps us get things done quickly!)

QUALIFICATIONS
* Around 5 years’ experience of marketing management (including experience in product marketing - ideally B2B tech) with a proven track record of bringing innovative products to market
* Experience in developing and monitoring the performance of marketing strategies, especially in B2B settings
* Ability to create, plan and execute across a broad suite of activities including events (trade shows / webinars), social media, PR, direct marketing, advertising and digital
* Ability to translate technical propositions into inspiring messages
* Experience of managing marketing agencies and other freelancers/contractors
* You’re entrepreneurial and excited about having a big impact at a small company.
* You’re a generalist who can push the boundaries and test a range of channels to engage companies (e.g. social media, email, content, events, offline)
* You are able to establish marketing planning frameworks (such as briefing templates) and ways of working with internal colleagues and external partners
* You are a natural relationship builder, able to quickly build rapport with our stakeholders
* Experience of construction or retrofit sectors would be valuable but not essential
