Job Summary
A part-time Shop Administrator role has become available within our charity. The Isaiah Project is a local charity that started back in 2008. Opening doors of opportunity and hope to the vulnerable and disadvantaged in the community, we help people get back on their feet by providing ongoing support and friendship.
The charity operates five shops that help to support the work we do. The role available is one that will assist in the everyday running of these shops. You will need to have strong organisational and interpersonal skills and an excellent telephone manner.
Duties
1. Be the first point of telephone contact for our shops, customers and charity enquiries
2. Manage the day-to-day running of the charity shops’ collections and delivery calendar and organise the van schedule
3. Maintain up-to-date stock lists
4. Assist the Shop Manager where necessary
5. Support in the shop if necessary
6. Liaise with Southend Council for the Essential Living Fund
7. Where possible help with creating social media content
Requirements
1. Good interpersonal skills, including a good telephone manner
2. Strong organisational skills
3. Able to use Excel, Word and Google Drive
4. Able to input and interpret spreadsheets
5. Be calm under pressure
6. Able to prioritise
7. Driver preferred but not essential
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £12.00 per hour
Expected hours: 26 per week
Schedule:
1. Monday to Friday
