Company Overview : We are a UK based CIS Contracting Service & Payments Company dedicated to serving clients in the Construction Industry. Our services encompass the engagement and payment of subcontractors and ensuring compliance with industry and tax regulations. We contract our services with many leading UK Contractors and make payments to thousands of subcontractor operatives on a weekly basis. As we continue to expand, we are seeking a dynamic and energetic Business Development Manager to join our team.
Position Overview : The Business Development Manager will play a major role in driving our business growth by identifying new opportunities and fostering good relationships within the construction sector. The ideal candidate is likely to have proven experience in this sector (although not a necessity), a good network of contacts and effective interpersonal skills. This role demands a proactive individual capable of securing new accounts while maintaining exemplary client care standards.
Key Responsibilities :
* Identify and Pursue New Business Opportunities: Leverage industry knowledge and networks to pinpoint potential clients and drive the expansion of our services.
* Achieve Sales Targets: Set and meet ambitious sales goals, contributing directly to the company’s revenue objectives.
* Client Relationship Management: Develop and nurture long-term relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and fostering loyalty.
* Market Analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to inform strategic planning and identify growth areas.
* Collaborate with Internal Teams: Work closely with marketing, operations, and service delivery teams to align efforts and ensure client expectations are exceeded.
* Represent the Company: Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance the company's profile and attract new business.
Qualifications :
* Industry Experience: 3 years business development within the construction industry and preferably with experience in CIS contracting services.
* Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in securing new business and managing client relationships effectively.
* Network of Contacts: Established relationships within the construction sector that can be leveraged to generate new business opportunities.
* Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
* Analytical Thinking: Ability to assess market trends and data to make informed business decisions.
* Self-Motivated: Proactive and driven to achieve and exceed targets with minimal supervision.
