In this pivotal role, you will:
1. Champion technical excellence, ensuring all projects meet high standards, deadlines, and budgetary constraints.
2. Engage in fee-earning work, especially in designing innovative schemes requiring high-level technical expertise.
3. Collaborate closely with clients to define project briefs, budget costs, and deliver tailored solutions.
4. Produce detailed specifications and drawings, review tenders, manage site works from start to finish, and ensure compliance with specifications.
5. Contribute to the team's success by meeting annual and monthly fee targets, under the guidance of the office partner.
To thrive in this role, you should have:
1. A degree/master’s in engineering, with a preference for Chartered Engineer status or candidates on the path to it.
2. Membership with the Chartered Institute of Building Services Engineers and/or The Energy Institute, or equivalent, is preferable.
3. Proficiency in MEPWorx and IES (Mechanical) design software, along with AutoCAD and Revit.
4. A full driving license and access to a vehicle.
5. A proven ability to meet tight deadlines and work effectively within a team.
