We are currently recruiting a Dental Nurse to work at our Outreach Site at Kenworthy Road. This will be a full-time post working 8.45am - 5.15pm Monday to Friday. This site provides outreach services for our undergraduate students.

Barts Health currently provides care across different sites: Whitechapel, Leytonstone, Stratford & Isle of Dogs and Hackney.
Our Dental Nurses are provided with a generous CPD package and regular training via our clinical audits. We have lots of extended training opportunities, and many of our nurses have been able to complete recognized NEBDN training courses.
At the start of service, nurses will be allowed 27 days of annual leave and paid bank holidays. This annual leave increases with service to 29 days after 5 years and 33 days after 10 years.
The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate:
1. Compassionate and caring approach to patients and service users
2. Safe and effective Infection Prevention Control
3. Flexibility in their approach to work
4. Use of own initiative
5. Working effectively as part of the team
6. Basic IT skills
7. Prioritizing and organizing workload
Candidates must have a good level of experience working as a Qualified Dental Nurse. Registration with the GDC is mandatory.
Previous experience of working within a Dental Hospital or similar setting is desirable.
A Post Dental Qualification or keen interest to undergo training would be an advantage.

The qualified dental nurse is an integral member of the dental team. They play an important role in the provision of dental services and the effective operation of the dental institute and outreach facilities.
