Reporting directly to the Commercial Manager, the Marketing Coordinator will support the ongoing development of the Marketing and wider Commercial function and the Veterinary Instrumentation brand in all markets we serve. This role is full-time covering maternity leave and, depending on the success of the role, could lead to a permanent position.
You will be involved in the creation and communication of marketing content, tools, and resources across a variety of products, technologies, and platforms, assisting the Commercial Team to deliver the most effective means of communicating the value of V.I's products, services, and proposition to our valued partners. This ensures successful execution of omni-channel marketing campaigns that enhance V.I's standing within the Animal Health industry.
A key aspect of the role will be supporting the organisation of V.I’s presence at national and some international exhibitions, conferences, and trade shows, developing our presence at these events and evolving our engagement with attendees and the wider Veterinary industry.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support the Commercial Manager and assist across all key commercial functions.
2. Ensure the continuous adoption of brand guidelines, delivering a consistent approach across all customer and partner touchpoints.
3. Assist in the organisation of V.I’s presence at key industry events, from planning through to execution.
4. Assist in the management and development of V.I’s existing website and e-commerce platform.
5. Support the Marketing function in the preparation, scheduling, and ongoing development of V.I’s Social Media content, ensuring all platforms are consistent with brand and audience messaging.
6. Assist in designing, editing, and publishing assets and content on all key platforms.
7. Support the marketing function in creating engaging email marketing campaigns through the development of digital assets.
8. Support the marketing function in the development of photography and videography content.
9. Create digital assets for regional and global distribution partners to support the global development of the V.I brand and manage shared resource content where necessary.
10. Support the Sales Manager in the development and creation of assets for V.I’s T&E function.
11. Assist the Commercial Manager in the development and creation of marketing assets required for product campaigns.
12. Assist in the development and implementation of regional brand strategies through market research, collation of sales data, intercompany engagement, and customer/product feedback.
13. Support the NPD project management process, focusing on the execution of NPD marketing and launch plans.
14. Provide general support to the wider business in relation to typical marketing activities, both on and offline.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Experience working within a commercial/marketing team is required.
2. Higher educational qualification in Marketing or a Veterinary-based course would be desirable.
3. Demonstrate an attitude to learn, develop, and a ‘give it your best’ attitude.
4. A confident, ideas person willing to try new things.
5. Ability to work collaboratively with the wider marketing team.
6. Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects.
7. Creative flair and confidence with a positive can-do attitude.
8. Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise work in a demanding environment.
9. Web management experience is beneficial.
10. Experience with 3rd party platforms such as Hootsuite, Canva, monday.com, and Feedly would be advantageous.
11. Fully adept with Microsoft Office programs.
12. Possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
13. Proactive team player who can work autonomously and as part of a team.
