Electrical Project Manager
An established M&E contractor, based in the Greater Manchester area, is looking for an ambitious Electrical Project Manager. This opportunity has great potential to develop with the business and work on some great local projects alongside developing a structured career with a company that always looks to promote internally.
There is a genuine likelihood the role will develop into a Project Director role within the next 12 months.
Responsibilities
1. Managing D&B commercial projects in various sectors from conception to completion.
2. Managing the entire project with liaison with internal designers and estimators.
3. Liaising with all other external stakeholders ensuring the smooth running of the projects.
4. Retrieving quotes and competitive processes from suppliers and sub-contractors.
5. Technical liaison and review with externals (clients, suppliers, sub-contractors).
6. Attending meetings and site visits as/when required.
7. Ensuring H&S is maintained throughout the project, communicating effectively with all relevant managers on site.
Experience Required
1. Comfortable with working independently on managing projects including electrical services (small power, lighting, security systems, fire alarms, etc.).
2. Previous experience working on projects worth £20,000 to £1,500,000.
3. Able to use Microsoft packages and read/interpret drawings.
4. NVQ, HNC or relative electrical qualifications are essential to the role.
5. Experience as an electrician would be an advantage.
6. End-to-end project management experience is essential.
7. SMSTS or black CSCS card desirable.
Package
1. Salary negotiable depending on experience (circa £50,000 to £60,000).
2. Car/Car allowance at £6,000.
3. Bonus structure (OTE £6,000 to £15,000).

6. Reasonable flexibility with working hours.
