Graduate Environmental Health Officer
Salary: £37,938 - £40,476 per annum, plus market supplement payment of £2000 per annum
Full time: 37 hours per week

You are a qualified Environmental Health Practitioner / Officer holding an EHRB Certificate or CIEH chartered / registered status; or a qualified graduate who already holds a CIEH accredited BSc or MSc in Environmental Health and has almost completed the CIEH’s Chartered Practitioner Programme or registration process.
You are enthusiastic and able to carry out the full range of day-to-day functions and duties of a Food and Health and Safety Environmental Health Officer/Practitioner, in accordance with legislative requirements and the Council’s policies and objectives.
You may be required to undertake inspections within the beauty industry, including massage or special treatments, and may accompany and assist qualified officers with inspections and audits associated with Animal Welfare.

Graduate Environmental Health Officer
Salary: £27,711 - £30,060 per annum
You have already completed your BSc (H) or master’s degree in environmental health, so we know you are self-motivated and enthusiastic. You are a team player, and possess excellent communication, organisational and analytical skills and can demonstrate your experience of dealing with people from all different walks of life. The ability to converse and provide information, advice and instruction is an essential requirement.
You are excited to be offered this opportunity and committed towards achieving Registration as an Environmental Health Practitioner/officer within 2 years of obtaining your degree.
Whilst completing your practical training requirements, you understand you will be responsible for your own case load across all work areas of Environmental Health Commercial and Environmental Protection, with experienced officers supporting and mentoring you.
