We are currently recruiting for an HR Manager to join our team at GXO, supporting our customer Iceland. The successful candidate will ensure all policies and procedures are adhered to, while our management teams are fully trained and supported in HR matters.
This role is key in ensuring cohesive positive working relationships with unions from ER cases, colleague engagement, and pay negotiations.
The Role:
* Build and drive the site HR people plan to support our overall business plan and develop our employee relations agenda.
* Carry out proactive development of line management capability through formal training, coaching, and guidance on all HR-related activities.
* Provide full HR generalist support and advice to managers and employees to ensure current knowledge of employee legislation.
* Facilitate harmonious employee relations with site teams and respective trade union representatives to ensure optimum working efficiency within the operation.
Requirements:
* Demonstrable experience in a similar HR management role, preferably in an operational environment, with exposure to dealing with trade unions.
* A proven track record in change management and the ability to drive HR transformation.
* Strong interpersonal, leadership, coaching, and motivational skills.
* An organized, data-focused, and conscientious approach to work.
