What We Are Looking For: Essential: Valid NMC Pin and a Nursing qualification - RGN (Registered General Nurse) or RMN (Registered Mental Health Nurse). Proven experience as a nurse, preferably in a nursing home or similar healthcare setting. Strong knowledge of nursing care methods, procedures, and best practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with residents, families, and colleagues. Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations. Key Responsibilities: Provide direct care to residents, including administering medication, monitoring vital signs, and conducting regular assessments to ensure optimal care standards. Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement personalised care plans for each resident. Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident records and documentation in line with care standards and regulations. Respond promptly and effectively to any emergency situations, ensuring immediate intervention when necessary. Offer emotional support and education to residents and their families, ensuring they are fully informed and supported.
