Technical Sales Engineer
Location: Bromsgrove, UK
Salary: £45, per annum + profit-related bonus
Our client, a leading manufacturer in the metal separation equipment industry, is seeking a highly motivated Technical Sales Engineer. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic team in a growing company with significant professional development prospects.
About the Role:
As a Technical Sales Engineer, you will:
Develop and manage a portfolio of clients across the UK, focusing on industries such as scrap metal processing, recycling, waste management, food processing, and mineral processing.
Translate complex technical specifications into customer-focused solutions.
Build strong relationships with engineers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate equipment.
Manage the entire sales cycle from initial enquiries to order closure.
Provide after-sales service and technical support to existing customers.
Interpret technical drawings and utilise CAD skills for sales presentations.
Contribute to sales strategies to achieve company objectives.
Occasionally travel for client visits, industry exhibitions, and training events.
What We're Looking For:
Education & Qualifications: Level 3 engineering qualification or above (preferably a Degree in engineering).
Experience: Proven ability to build strong relationships and establish technical credibility. Experience in understanding customer applications within an engineering environment.
Skills & Abilities: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Self-motivated with strong time management and organisational skills. Ability to use CAD for drawing generation.
Additional Requirements: Must be able to commute to Bromsgrove and have a valid driving licence. A valid passport for occasional international travel is desirable.
