Robert Half is recruiting for a Finance Team Leader to manage a small transactional finance team based in South Birmingham.
1. Leading and developing team of Finance clerks.
2. Written and verbal communications with both internal and external contacts including senior members of the organisation
Responsibilities
3. Overseeing a team of 4 staff
4. Carrying our regular one to ones with team members
5. Managing time keeping and attendance
6. Identifying and implementing process improvements
7. Accurately recording VAT Treatment
8. Statement/account reconciliations
9. Processing Payment runs
10. Reporting for KPI's and attending regular meetings
Profile:
11. Take a professional approach, ownership, responsibility and be flexible
12. Previous experience of a subcontractor ledger and VAT requirements
13. Be able to manage team effectively
14. Be able to prioritise and manage their workload
15. Methodical approach and ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure
16. Possess excellent communication and administration skills
17. Be self-motivated and driven with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
