Job Opportunity: Stock Buyer Location: Belfast Salary: £22,549 - £24,882 (Band 4) Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Monday - Friday) Duration: Temporary, Full-time Apple Recruitment Services are looking for aStock Buyerto join a dynamic team and support a robust supply chain. This role involves managing stock portfolios, maintaining optimum inventory levels, and ensuring timely order processing for products worth over £50 million annually. Key Responsibilities: Manage stock levels and maintain service standards in line with budget agreements. Oversee the timely ordering and delivery of stock, ensuring compliance with supplier schedules. Work with suppliers, finance, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth operations. Lead inventory control tasks and report on stock discrepancies. Participate in supplier meetings and contract management. Supervise and develop staff within the inventory team. Essential Criteria: GCSE Maths & English (A-C) or equivalent qualification. Two A Levels or equivalent qualification. Minimum 18 months experience in procurement/logistics within a supply chain function, or 3 years of relevant experience. Strong communication, organisational, and IT skills. Desirable Criteria: Full membership in CILT/CIPS or equivalent professional body. Experience with web-based ordering or warehouse management systems.
