The role This is a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract - Anticipated Start date March 2025 We are looking for a dynamic and inspiring Tenancy Services Officer – Response for our Midlands Region, covering areas such as Coventry & Rugby. We are looking for someone to engage effectively with customers, resolving issues such as Breach of Tenancy, hoarding and attending evictions and new customer visits. You will be a car owner, and have the ability to travel to meet requirements of the role, be able to participate in Out of Hours rota, and be able to work flexibly to support effective case management. (potential for up to 8pm on a weekday, to 1pm on a Saturday) This role is part of Customer & Communities where you'll help us to lead the way keeping our promise to more than 100,000 customers. Interviews will be held over Teams end of Feb 2025 What you'll achieve This role will involve a mix of working from home, in office and travel across the Midlands. The Tenancy team in work together to provide an effective service to customers and wider business. You will develop relationships with partner agencies such as local authorities, fire and police services. Deal with any issues effectively, supporting both complainants and witnesses. Resolve cases such as Breach of Tenancy, death of tenants and successions Provide specialist advice and guidance to all colleagues relating to tenancy issues. Prepare case work effectively, referring to legal team as required. What you'll bring Essential skills Demonstrable experience in successfully managing a complex housing management case load High level of knowledge in relevant legislation and best practice relating to social housing Excellent investigation and evidence gathering as part of effective case management Excellent verbal and other communication skills, including the ability to prepare complex reports Experience of successfully delivering good outcomes through partnership working Desirable skills Experience in a similar role within Social Housing sector.
