Role: Learning Support Assistant
Contract: PERMANENT
Hours: 26.67 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (Term time plus inset days)
Salary: £15,318/£15,523 depending on service
Closing Date: 21st March at 12pm Midday
We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, caring and energetic person to join our Learning Support Faculty. The team are dedicated, positive and friendly. You should be approachable, patient and understanding to support identified students with special educational needs and/or disabilities to enable them to access the curriculum.
Duties include:
Promoting positive pupil behaviour in line with school policies and help keep pupils on task
Interacting with, and supporting pupils, according to individual needs and skills
Implementing planned learning activities/teaching programmes as agreed with the teacher, adjusting activities according to pupils’ responses as appropriate
