About the role - you will:
We are seeking a strategic and creative Community Engagement & Employer Brand Leader to support the Springtown/Derry site. This individual contributor role will drive partnership engagement initiatives that increase the Seagate brand and build community connections for future growth. There is an opportunity to strengthen internal employee engagement, in alignment with business stakeholders to develop innovative community outreach that builds upon 30 years of partnership in NI.
The role is located in Northern Ireland and reports to the Global Director of Culture & Community (based in the U.S.). The responsibilities of the job are:
Campaign and Project Management:
1. Lead in the development and delivery of engagement/brand campaigns across a range of internal and external platforms and as required, scope briefs for third party services.
2. Develop insights/profile for internal and external audiences, important to campaign planning and execution.
3. Align to the broader global and site strategy for campaigns, through contributing to a quarterly roadmap of activity.
4. Produce outline campaign plans including priority actions and resources that align to key audiences and business outcomes.
5. Establish success indicators through clear outcomes, milestones, actions and measures.
Content and Channel Management:
1. Contribute to quarterly global content planner to inform themes/ideas for storytelling to support business, employer brand and employee engagement goals.
2. Support the creation of high-quality, engaging content to support a range of internal communication plans and campaigns.
3. Support improvement plans and updating of a mix of digital, print and social channels.
4. Develop and maintain a shared resource hub for team members and partners.
Community and Partnership engagement:
1. Engage with internal and external stakeholders to identify and scope innovative collaboration and engagement opportunities.
2. Coordinate community outreach and partnership programmes to align with the global and site plan.
3. Co-ordinate and update a shared resource of partnership actions and opportunities.
4. Contribute to the monitoring and reporting on partnership programmes and engagement activities and their impact.
Market Research & Reporting:
1. Develop market insights and research to stay informed of industry trends and community opportunities.
2. Oversee the collection and analysis of metrics and performance data.
3. Lead project after-action reviews, and prepare reports on program results (metrics, dashboards) with recommendations for continuous improvement.
About you:
1. A proven ability to think creatively, be innovative and embrace collaboration.
2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability for creative storytelling across a range of media (photography, video, digital etc).
3. Capability of building strategic annual plans and executing operational plans with an attention to detail.
4. Fosters productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders/partners with an ability to collaborate and bring alignment.
5. Demonstrates responsible decision making and contributes to learning outcomes with improvements to campaigns, employer brand, & community outreach initiatives.
6. Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations or a related area.
Your experience includes:
Minimum of 5 years in communications & marketing campaign experience:
1. Preference for experience with communications, change initiatives, employer brand, and community programmes, ideally in a global company.
2. Experience in contributing to marketing and communication plans which align to business, product, community engagement and brand strategies and outcomes.
3. Solid understanding of developing and executing campaigns, partnership programmes and community outreach programmes.
4. Experience of writing content and working across a mix of digital, print, and social media platforms.
5. Ability to develop and establish new initiatives through collaboration and alignment with business and operational goals.
6. Solid capabilities in MSFT suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
7. Budget and project management experience.
