As a lead Battery Management Systems Controls Engineer, you will be heavily involved in the development of control algorithms and software stack for Eatron`s Intelligent Software Layer for automotive & mobility applications. Example tasks would be participating in requirement definition & reviews, application software development, test planning (MIL, SIL, HIL and DVP) and following the V-Cycle processes to achieve robust product development.
Responsibilities:
* Development of complex and innovative control functions with serial production intent.
* Clean sheet designs including system & software architecture and requirement analysis.
* Coordinating software development & testing around the V-cycle
* Prototyping and testing.
* Managing documentation and software releases.
* Support industrialization including DV&PV test planning and EoL specifications when required.
Required Skills and Attributes:
* At least three years of experience in battery management controls & software development in automotive including physics-based battery modelling for estimation & controls.
* Good Control Systems background including system identification, estimation theory inc. Kalman Filters and model predictive control techniques.
* Excellent grasp of the Matlab/Simulink/Stateflow toolchain.
* Good understanding of and experience in automotive software development (e.g. V-cycle, MISRA C/C++, AUTOSAR)
* Knowledge of ISO26262 Functional Safety and ASPICE processes.
* Good understanding of EV technologies, components and specifically battery management systems, sensors, and actuators.
