Join Marlowe Environmental Services as a Financial Accountant, responsible for ensuring financial stability and statutory compliance, including VAT and CIS reporting. You will drive improvements in financial controls and efficiencies, collaborate across teams, and support the development of the finance function.
Location: Hybrid working, 3 days per week from the office (GL2 2AQ) and 2 days from home.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Ensure compliance with VAT, CIS, and statutory reporting requirements.
2. Prepare accurate financial statements and reports.
3. Enhance financial controls and streamline processes.
4. Support the Financial Accounts Manager in financial management and reporting.
5. Collaborate with stakeholders to provide financial insights and reporting support.
6. Contribute to ad-hoc projects and system improvements.
Person Specification:
1. ACA or CIMA qualified (or recently qualified) with strong financial reporting and compliance expertise.
2. Advanced Excel skills; knowledge of Sage 200 and CIS is beneficial.
3. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
4. Detail-oriented and proactive in improving financial processes.
5. Adaptable and resilient in fast-paced environments.
6. Salary up to £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
