About the role:
Ginetta’s carbon shop is looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking individual to join our rapidly expanding team. As a Junior Finisher/Production Operative, you will be responsible for bonding, filling, and polishing carbon fibre parts for our various race and road car projects, as well as general workshop duties, including but not limited to demoulding, mould maintenance, and kit cutting.
As a Junior Finisher, it will be your job to:
1. Flatten and polish various composite components both by hand and machine.
2. Prepare and bond various composite components.
3. Bond and fix various fasteners.
4. Demould composite parts.
5. Maintain moulds to a high standard.
6. Cut/prepare core materials.
7. Work with autoclave technician to cut materials and make lamination kits.
The successful candidate will:
1. Have great attention to detail and ability to work to tight tolerances.
2. Be able to follow both written and verbal instructions.
3. Show great dexterity and coordination.
4. Be self-motivated, enthusiastic, and consistently work with precision and care.
5. Have an excellent work ethic and be able to work within a team as well as independently.
6. Show good housekeeping, able to work with cleanliness and follow health and safety guidelines.
7. Preferably have a good understanding of various hand/power tools, but this is not essential as full training will be given.
