The Principal Designer Role
As a Principal Designer, you will play a critical role in managing and overseeing the design risk management process. Your expertise will be pivotal in ensuring that projects meet the stringent requirements of the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015. The successful Principal Designer will work closely with clients and design teams to provide advice and support throughout the project lifecycle, from conception through to completion.
You will be involved in a diverse range of projects, including residential, commercial, and industrial developments.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the design risk management process.
Provide expert advice on CDM regulations to clients and design teams.
Prepare and submit F10 notifications.
Conduct design risk assessments and manage pre-construction information.
Ensure all projects comply with current health and safety regulations.
Experience
Extensive experience in a similar Principal Designer role.
A strong background in construction or design with specific Principal Design delivery experience.
NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Health and Safety.
APS and IOSH memberships are highly desirable.
A proactive and communicative team player with a keen eye for detail.
